HDR Photography

I’ve been reading about this over the past week going through tutorials and alike in trying to understand the concept. I’ve always looked at other people photography and wondered why my photos never looked like that. I now know why! Thanks to the beauty of Photoshop and Photomatix images can look a thousand times better.

HDR (High Dynamic Range) is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of luminances between light and dark areas of a scene than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of HDRI is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to shadows.

Here are some examples of how to put HDR into action http://www.hdrsoft.com/examples.html.
